LILI & SUSIE : Show Me Heaven

Swede songstresses Lili & Susie (pardon our ignorance here) were apparently around in the 1980s and 1990s and enjoyed a generous amount of chart success in their homeland, but fast forward to 2009 and the girls reunited for the country's Melodifestivalen in the hope of representing Sweden at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow. The honour ultimately went to Malena Ernman and while Sweden's answer to Bananarama may have been a little disappointed that they weren't chosen, they've not sat on their hands - releasing a little video clip to go with their song 'Show Me Heaven'. It's clearly not the most expensive video ever made, but the track's a whole bundle of camp, including the essential and all important key change.

The only thing I am unhappy about the Eurovision Song Contest is that the use of English, in the Contest increases year by year.

As a native English speaker I think this is unfair!

It's certainly time to break the habit of "language imperialism", in the Eurovision Song Contest, and use a song, sung in Esperanto instead!

This is a serious suggestion, as you can see from the Esperanto music which is already available at http://www.vinilkosmo.com/?prs=listen or at http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8837438938991452670

There's even cheesy Esperanto music available! See http://www.ipernity.com/home/56084
