ROYKSOPP : Happy Up Here

The new Röyksopp album release is now less than a month away (we're breathless with antici-pation) and to continue the build up, the band has dropped the video clip to the lead single 'Happy Up Here'. And just what would one expect to go with such a delightful piece of pOp electronica? A deliciously bright, fun and well-lit video clip, courtesy of 'Power Ding' - seemingly some kind of strange illuminated advertising mascot. 'Power Ding' seems to be responsible for every tiny little globe in the city and seems intent on bringing all said globes together for some almighty celebration. Or invasion as it turns out to be. What ensues in the remaining half of the clip is not only a great idea, but some of the cleverest and most well-executed animation we've seen in a video clip. Beware the lights in the sky...
