SOUND RELIEF CAUSES TICKETEK CRASH

Demand for tickets for the forthcoming bushfire and flood relief concerts 'Sound Relief' was so strong this morning it brought about the crash of the Ticketek website. The concerts, one at Sydney's SCG and the other at Melbourne's MCG, went on sale at 9am today, but due to overwhelming interest in the concerts, many couldn't even access the Ticketek website. The ticketing issues have forced organisers to issue a statement a short time ago, saying that "Issues with the Ticketek system are causing delays", and "people should keep trying", adding that "there are plenty of tickets still available". The concerts are both set to take place on March 14, with Coldplay now confirming that they'll play with full band at the Sydney concert instead of the acoustic set originally planned. Up and coming country star Taylor Swift has also been added to the Sydney bill, along with Melbourne electro outfit Architecture In Helsinki.
