INTRODUCING TIM HARRIS

Okay, so here's how the story goes... You know every now and again when a music artist requests your friendship on Myspace and you think 'oh gosh - is this another one of those strange young ladies from the United States who I don't know from a bar of soap and who's just going to spam my Myspace with all sorts of strange requests' and then it turns out that they're actually quite legit and beyond being legit, they're actually rather good? Here's one of those stories. Young Sydney-based artist Tim Harris released his debut album 'Starlight Avenue' (pictured) back in 2007, a disc with nary a digital effect in sight, layered instead with all manner of analogue musical wizardry, the results of which you can hear over at his OFFICIAL MYSPACE. Inspired by some of the greatest pOp and electronic acts of the '70s and '80s, Mister Harris's music is melodic, intelligent and atmospheric.
