* The Music Network magazine is this week reporting that former Idol star Cosima De Vito is currently battling her former managers in the Supreme Court in Sydney, as they seek more than $500,000 in damages from the singer after the relationship between the two parties broke down.* Aussie rock outfit Wolfmother is set to return to the charts with a forthcoming second album due in the latter part of 2009. In celebration of the new material, the band is offering up a brand new track 'Back Round' as a free download for a limited time from their OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
* Faye, Lisa, H, Claire and Lee - the members of deliriously bubbly pOp outfit Steps - are reportedly on friendly terms again, with a view to reforming the early '00s group for a UK tour and possible new material.
* Lady Gaga continues her run of good chart fortune throughout the world with her single 'Poker Face' hitting No.1 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart after 15 weeks in. Previous single 'Just Dance' also continues it's good run of form Stateside, climbing one place to No.9 this week.
* And Kelly Clarkson's brand new single 'I Do Not Hook Up', the second to be lifted from her album 'All I Ever Wanted', has been sent to radio in Australia this week. A physical CD single of the track is set for release down under on May 01.
