While we're a little partial to the stone fruit of the same name, we must admit to not ever really getting the whole Peaches pheno-menon. The German-based singer is wild, sexual and most definitely pushes the boundaries, but this new single, the first from her forthcoming album 'I Feel Cream', we kinda get. Lyrically, the track deals with a partner who clearly has troubles communicating, and Ms Nisker calls it as she sees it. Cinematically, it's dark and grungy, with dim lighting and shadowing effects being used to great effect, while Peaches toys with an effortless and purposeful sexual ambiguity. Tinned, fresh or musical, we guess we now have a choice when it comes to enjoying our favourite Peaches. The album 'I Feel Cream' is due in-stores in Australia on May 01.Monday, April 13, 2009
