STAR PILOTS : In The Heat Of The Night

We can't be sure when it actually arrived with us, but earlier today, we discovered a copy of Swedish outfit Star Pilot's 'In The Heat Of The Night' in our little CD collection. We have no idea when it arrived and we have no idea where it came from. BUT, with the track about to be released in the UK, we decided it was time to have a look at the track (and it's accompanying clip), around six months after it's Swedish release.
Funnily enough, the clip, which takes the mickey out of the movie Top Gun, is also distinctly similar to the clip to Boom's single 'How Do You Do' that we took a look at earlier in the month. We just hope that the girls waving around the batons don't actually wave real planes in at the airport, 'cause if they do, we reckon we're all going to be in a bit of strife. Then they get out their flares, before changing into their skimpy red, white and blue bikinis to give the aircraft a good soaping ala Jessica Simpson in the 'These Boots Are Made For Walking' clip. And while the clip almost descends into a skank-fest, it's saved by the high-energy, uplifting music bed that accompanies it.
