CASCADA : Evacuate The Dancefloor

They may have downed the tempo slightly on their new single 'Evacuate The Dancefloor', but German outfit Cascada certainly haven't ditched their feel-good brand of dance/pOp. Fronted by singer Natalie Horler, the band has achieved moderate success here in Australia, but there's no word yet on whether this new material will get a local release. 'Evacuate The Dancefloor' is the title track and first single to be lifted from the band's new album. Stylistically, the track is a happy blend of Swede-pOp, Britney's 'Kill The Lights' and anything from Lady Gaga's debut. It's instant, catchy and totally listenable and there's no reason whatsoever that the track couldn't work at radio in Australia. But when. That's the next question.
