Despite a plethora of No.1s throughout the world and no less than five different formats of the album being made available, sales of the new U2 album 'No Line On The Horizon' haven't really set the globe alight comparatively - though still bagging over a quarter of a million sales. Their new single is 'Magnificent' and though the title may be a little presumptuous, the track harks back to the band's glory days of the late '80s and early '90s. It's desperately familiar and as always, Bono's vocals effortlessly soar. Whether it's 'magnificent' or not is entirely subjective, but we've got to admit the video clip, filmed in Morocco, is every bit the title of the song.

This song could easily be their best track of this decade. It is absolutely fantastic.
