The 'A Day On The Green' events have become synonymous with great entertainment in a beautiful vineyard setting right across this big brown land of ours. And performing guests have just been announced for the 2009 run of the pOpular concert series. Taking to the stage for this year's events? The B52s and The Proclaimers! Both bands will head down under for the events, which kick off at the beautiful Bimbadgen Estate in the Hunter Valley on November 21. It will have been almost 20 years since the B52s have performed a national tour, while it's The Proclaimers' first visit to our shores since 2003. Both acts will be joined at all except the Melbourne and Geelong shows by supporting act Mental As Anything. Tickets for all events are on sale on Monday June 22.
