Our last post earlier this afternoon speculated about the cancellation of the forthcoming Australian tour of iconic '90s boy band New Kids On The Block. Tickets for the concert tour went on sale in late May, but it's understood that sales have been less than favourable. While the event still appears on the websites for Perth's Burswood Dome, Newcastle's Entertainment Centre, Wollongong's WIN Entertainment Centre and Brisbane's Entertainment Centre, the concert has disappeared from the forthcoming events listings for both Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and Sydney's Acer Arena. But the confirmation comes from the website of Adelaide's Entertainment Centre. It simply quotes "The New Kids On The Block Tour has been cancelled. Patrons who have purchased tickets for the concert will have their ticket refunded." Confirmation is expected to come from touring agent Andrew McManus Presents sometime tomorrow.

NK's promo people and AMP fucked up. Too many shows, promo pulled days after pre-sale - nobody knew it was on. Again, total stuff up.
ha! Lame ticket prices for a band that is not relevant in this country, if it was a pure greatest hits concert, well, it would be a different matter but that new album is awful...
