MJ TO TOP THE ARIA CHARTS

Our sources tell us today that Michael Jackson is set to dominate tomorrow's official ARIA Charts. They say that his 1988 single 'Man In The Mirror' will come into the singles chart at No.3 in this week's chart, outsold only by the Black Eyed Peas and Lady Gaga (at Nos.1 and 2 respectively) and bettering it's original Aussie chart placing by 36 spots. Further down, a further seven of Michael's songs occupy the top 20. On the albums charts, meanwhile, the King Of Pop looks set to dominate the top five, occupying the top three places. We'll give you all the Michael Jackson sales figures in a special 'MJ Chart Watch' on Monday.

* UPDATE - The information regards 'Man In The Mirror' turned out to be incorrect - it is 'Thriller' that makes it into the No.3 spot. 'Man In The Mirror' rockets back in at No.8.

Man In The Mirror #3??!!! How is that possible when it didn't reach the Top 5 at iTunes and it's been out of the Top 10 since the start of the week?! Something very dodgy is going on there. iTunes is the biggest source of digital sales in the country - and almost every week, the tracks that have sold consistently well there have ended up charting highly on the official ARIA charts....

Our apologies, it is in fact 'Thriller' that's moving into the No.3 spot this week, with 'Black Or White', 'Billie Jean' and 'Man In The Mirror' holding down spots 6-8 respectively.
