A SPLASH OF GIN

New Zealand songstress Gin Wigmore (pictured left by herself and below with The Cardinals) will release her debut album 'Holy Smoke' on September 25. It's release follows on from her EP last year which featured the radio tracks 'These Roses', 'Under My Skin' and 'SOS'. The singer has crafted her long player debut with a little help from Ryan Adams' collaborators The Cardinals, who have gushed about Gin's talent.
"Gin Wigmore is unquestionably one of the most exciting new artists to emerge in many years. Her songwriting is at once diverse, intelligent, melodic, and soulful. Her voice is raw and emotional, with phrasing far beyond her years. Her debut record is a fully realized statement of intent, promising a great career ahead," said band member Neal Cassal. The first single from the album, 'Oh My', will be released to retail on August 08, with Gin set to premiere songs from the album at exclusive album launches, dates of which will be revealed exclusively through the singer's TWITTER SITE.
