GOSSIP : Love Long Distance

Beth and co hit the roller rink for the video of 'Love Long Distance', the second single from their latest album 'Music For Men'. With glittering spandex outfits and retro roller skates, we're soon introduced to the land of the inflatable bobble-headed people. There's one rollerskating! There's one behind the counter at the roller skate rink! And look! There in the corner! It's a three piece band that looks very much like a bobble-headed version of Gossip! Could it be!? Well bobble-headed Beth takes to the rink to join the other two bobble-headed skaters (it must be a quiet night) to do a couple of laps. There's a shot of one of the bobble-heads in the lav, fiddling with it's skates (who's to say whether they're male or female - though in saying that, it most certainly looks like the ladies' loo). Hang about - there are now FOUR! And there's another hanging around the slurpee machine! If we've learned one thing from the clip, it's that smoking around in the vicinity of the balloon people can be deadly. There's something in that for all of us.
