We know full well that Sydney singer-songwriter Josh Pyke's video clips are always something a bit special. This is the guy who took to majestic Sydney harbour in an oversized motorised guitar, remember. So it's with great excitement that we present the brand new fan made video for Josh's new single 'You Don't Scare Me'. Cait Mahoney was the lucky winner of a competition to create the clip Josh's new single and it's now available for the world to see. And what a desperately creative minx she is - creating a lovely plasticine Josh who, after sitting beneath a lovely plasticine tree gets attacked by what looks like an oversized rogue black plasticine jelly baby. But, as the title of the song suggests, said plasticine black jelly baby monster doesn't scare tiny plasticine Josh Pyke and his cutesy plasticine guitar and he continues to strum. Sadly, plasticine guitar and plasticine Josh get eaten by plasticine black jelly baby monster before plasticine Josh emerges from a strange purple chute. Plasticine Josh is then joined by plasticine band and plasticine sea creatures, before mending a (plasticine) broken heart. Great clip, Cait - take a well deserved bow...Friday, August 21, 2009
