Sony Music has announced that a film featuring rehearsal footage of Michael Jackson's planned 'This Is It' concerts at London's O2 Arena, will hit Australian cinemas on October 30. Footage for the release is to be edited from "hundreds of hours of rehearsal and behind the scenes" film, recorded as the King Of Pop rehearsed for the shows at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles and will be presented in high definition with state of the art digital sound.
The film is set to feature interviews with some of MJ's closest friends and will also feature certain scenes in 3D. It's being released with the blessing of the Estate of Michael Jackson and proceeds from the film will go towards the Michael Jackson Family Trust.
