* Warner Music has rushed the new Madonna single 'Celebration' to iTunes following it's online leak over the weekend. The track is at radio locally today.* Also at radio today is the new single from local soul superstar Daniel Merriweather. 'Red' is the second track to be lifted from Daniel's stunning long-awaited debut album 'Love And War'.
* Looks like the lure of 'Birthday Sex' wasn't going to be everlasting. After debuting in the ARIA top 100 last week at No.37, the single plummets (and we mean plummets) after just one week to a staggering No.100 this week!
* The Black Eyed Peas have this week notched up twelve consecutive weeks atop the Australian singles chart. Previous single 'Boom Boom Pow' spent six weeks on top and 'I Gotta Feeling' this week achieves the same feat.
* In the United States, meanwhile, the Black Eyed Peas have achieved an incredible 17 weeks on top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They spent 12 weeks at No.1 stateside with 'Boom Boom Pow', while 'I Gotta Feeling' has now been on top for five weeks. By doing so, they've set a new record for the successive time spent atop the chart by a group or duo.
* And the gang from Girls Aloud Australia have asked Aussie fans of the girlgroup to head over to iTunes this week to purchase a copy of 'The Promise'. They're hoping to break the track into the top 100 ARIA singles chart by next weekend.

Lol I think Girls Aloud are going to have to do some promotional stuff if they want "The Promise" to chart in the top 100. Its a great song but yeah.
