While the other record companies are slowly but surely phasing out the physical single format, it seems that Sony Music is going after the market hell for leather, with no less than 20 CD singles set for release between now and October 02. The string of single releases begins this weekend with the official in-store date for Kate Miller-Heidke's 'The Last Day On Earth' and Daughtry's 'No Surprise'. Added to the schedule this week are singles for Beyonce ('Broken Hearted Girl' on August 28), Jessica Mauboy ('Up/Down' on August 28), Jordin Sparks ('SOS - Let The Music Play' on September 04) and Whitney Houston ('Million Dollar Bill' on September 11). Check back at 9am tomorrow AEST for the full wrap of upcoming pop music releases.
