Thought pop only happened in Europe these days? Well strike that, because Universal Music Australia has this week taken the awesome, very pop, new Mini Viva track 'Left My Heart In Tokyo' to local radio. Whether or not radio in this country laps it up or not is another thing entirely, but we're thrilled that UMA is taking a chance. Managed by Simon Fuller (Spice Girls, Idol, X Factor etc etc), Frankee and Britt are signed with Geffen Records over in the UK and are produced by the mighty Xenomania team. If colour, sound and movement are your thing, then you're going to soak in the video clip big time. 'I Left My Heart In Tokyo' is oh so retro while being oh so now. Even Pete Hammond from the PWL crew has lent his genius to a VERY Stock-Aitken-Waterman remix of the track with is all over the net. Tuesday, August 25, 2009
