It's been a desperately long time coming, but Dame Shirley Bassey is about to release a brand new studio album. More than two decades after her last studio album of originals, 'The Performance' will be released in Australia through Universal Music in mid-November.Featuring tracks penned by some of today's most famous artists (Pet Shop Boys, KT Tunstall, Manic Street Preachers, David Arnold and Gary Barlow of Take That fame), the legendary singer, who'll turn 73 in January, will also sing 'Our Time Is Now', a John Barry/Don Black collaboration that will mark the first time the gentlemen have written a song for Dame Shirley since the iconic 'Diamonds Are Forever'.
The 11 track album is set to hit retail on Friday November 13.
