NEW POWDERFINGER

Universal Music has today announced forthcoming released from Aussie outfit Powderfinger. The record company will release the band's new single 'All Of The Dreamers' to radio on Friday September 25 from 7am, before releasing the track digitally on Friday October 16.
With more than two million albums sales under their belt, the band will be hoping that despite a slight departure from their past sound, fans will still lap up their new album 'Golden Rule' when it goes on sale on November 13.

This is from one of the Yanks in south Texas (USA), wondering what small deviation from their previous sound is going to be like. I hope the 'Vulture Street' sound returns. That was an outstanding record, with lots of memorable songs. It's really a shame that Powderfinger doesn't get much airplay here in the States. (Or, for that matter, any 'rock' music, per se! Collective Soul's new CD barely made a ripple in the US market and it is one of their best since 'Dosage'. God help the American DJ...) Will the CD "Golden Rule" be released in the U.S. And if so...when? Thanks, and keep up 'the show'!

Anonymous? Hmmm? LOL
Guess you know by now that "Golden Rule" is going to be released Down Under on Nov. 13. Caught some of the band takes at www.undercover.com.au...
good stuff! (Very funny scene where BF is extending a note on one of the songs.)
Does anybody know when the CD will be released in the United States? I think it will be available on iTunes, but what about some of the other mp3 purchase sites?
Long live Aussie Rock...some of the best in the world that the Yank Corporations don't want to know about...
