* British girl group The Saturdays, who'll see their new album 'Wordshaker' released in Britain in October, are also set to see some digital release action here in Australia. But don't get too excited - it's not the new album. The tracks 'Chasing Lights', 'Issues' and 'Beggin'' (the latter the 'Issues' b-side) all look set to be released to digital retail on October 16.
* Touring agent Michael Coppel has announced a change in date for the Pixies' 2010 Aussie tour - and it affects Adelaide. The band's show at the Thebarton Theatre on March 24 has been changed to March 25. It's all apparently to accommodate the demand for tickets in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
* The gang at Neon is now celebrating a top 40 hit for Swedish songstress Agnes. But even though the story for 'Release Me' now seems far from over, they're already busily planning the Aussie release of the next single 'Need You Now'.
* Organisers of Phillip Island's Pyramid Rock Festival in Victoria must've jumped the gun a bit on Monday 'cause they've also announced that Scottish outfit Biffy Clyro have also been added to the bill for the Dec 29 - January 01 event.
* One of our auspOp favourites Kate Vigo is setting off on a little national tour. She'll be playing a number of dates in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, kicking off this Friday at Cafe Komodo in Prospect, South Australia. All dates are up on Kate's OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
* And in the world of Twitter, the Freemasons report that Elton John snapped up 35 copies of their recent album 'Shakedown 2' to give to his friends, Calvin Harris is eating green eggs and ham (that, or he's been reading one too many Doctor Seuss books) and Cassie Davis is getting worked up for her appearance on the Hey Hey It's Saturday reunion show (tonight at 7:30 on the Nine Network).
