It's been more than a decade since respected US house DJ Danny Tenaglia last toured Australia, but Future Entertainment has literally just announced that he's heading back down under as part of the 2010 Summadayze Festivals. He's apparently renowned for turning down touring offers, so the Danny Tenaglia tour announcement is seen as somewhat of a coup for Summadayze organisers. But the catch is that Danny is only appearing at three of the Summadayze dates. He'll appear at the Melbourne event on January 01, the Perth event on January 03 and the Gold Coast's Summafieldayze event on January 09.
Tickets for all Summadayze dates are on sale now.

They really are cocking up this year's Summadayze with these has-been homo-centric DJs. I really like Danny T's remixes and would definitely go out to hear him play at somewhere like the Market, but I think his style of music isn't suited to Summadayze. When I think Summadayze I think typical Melbourne electro house from the likes of John Course, Grant Smillie, Andy Van/Vandalism and the rest of the Vicious/MoS crew.
The same goes for the Euro dj's like Carl Cox and even Eddie Halliwell.
I think you'll find alot of party goers will have alot to whinge about after this years Summadayze. I suppose this event just can't compete against the powerhouse that is Sensation.
