There are some artists signed to major record companies that aren't making music as strong as the two tracks featured on Chris Sorbello's Myspace page. The Sydney-based singer-songwriter is set to make a splash on the Australian pop music scene in 2010 with a series of tracks that are primed for radio play. Though fearful that 'Dangerzone' may have been a Kenny Loggins cover, it's actually a rather tasty '80s electro number, with plenty of retro synths and beats. There's also a remix by respected local Marco Demark.
But gets your ears around the sweet vocals atop the soundtrack of bleeps and deep bass sounds of 'Symbiotic' and you begin to realise why people have been excitedly elating that pop finally has a new sound.
Chris Sorbello has the look, the sound and obviously the right people around her to ensure that she'll indeed be one to watch in the months and years ahead. Check her out now over at her OFFICIAL MYSPACE.
