MTV EMA WINNERS

Pop superstar Beyonce Knowles has cleaned up at the 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards, held in Berlin, winning three out of the 13 awards handed out on the night. The singer scooped the gongs thanks largely to her mammoth international hit 'Halo' which took home the 'Best Song' and 'Best Video' awards. B also picked up the award for Best Female.
Best Male went to the ever controversial Eminem, while the best group award was handed out to German outfit Tokio Hotel.
Elsewhere pop newcomer Pixie Lott picked up the gong for Best Push Artist, while the all-conquering Lady Gaga was named Best New Act.
