Australia's love affair with Susan Boyle continues - the Scottish songstress clocking up an eleventh consecutive week atop the Australian album chart. While things have change a little over on the singles chart.
SINGLES : Iyaz has finally claimed the No.1 position on the ARIA singles chart this week, bagging 16,206 copies of his debut Aussie single 'Replay'. He was, however, less than 1300 copies ahead of Owl City's former No.1 'Fireflies' which he replaces at the top of the chart. 'Fireflies' sold 14,968 copies, with Mumford & Sons' 'Little Lion Man' gaining two chart places and a further 10,546 sales. And it's Ke$ha rounding out the top five with her hits 'Blah Blah Blah' and 'Tik Tok' selling 10,385 and 9731 copies respectively.
David Guetta's back in the top 10 - this time with a little help from Kid Cudi. 'Memories' sells 7538 copies this week to place at No.9, while Jay Sean's into the top ten at No.10 with 'Do You Remember?' (7505 sales).
The Temper Trap finally reaches a new peak of No.14 with their year-old single 'Sweet Disposition' (5575 sales) and Timbaland has cracked the top 20 with Nelly Furtado in tow - 'Morning After Dark' up eight places to No.19 (3553 sales).
Rihanna is rocketing up the charts with her new single 'Rude Boy', just one week after it was serviced to radio. It sells 3406 copies this week, moving up 22 places to No.23.
Vicious has a hit on their hands with Richard Vission's track 'I Like That'. It's up another ten places to No.27 (2814 sales), while Mumford & Sons score more chart love with their track 'The Cave' - into the top 50 at No.33 (2366 copies).
Sia's biggest Aussie hit to date ('You've Changed') moves up to No.34 (2323 copies) and Justin Bieber's 'Baby' enters with a bang at No.37 (2114 sales).
Other new top 50 debuts come from Kid Cudi ('Pursuit Of Happiness' at No.41 - 1863 sales), Passion Pit ('Little Secrets' at No.48 - 1683 sales) and Cascada ('Fever' at No.50 - 1657 sales).
Outside the top 50, there's some chart love for Lil Wayne ftg. Eminem - their collaboration 'Drop The World' enters the top 100 at No.56 (1505 sales), Florence & The Machine's version of 'You've Got The Love' heads up from No.94 to No.57 (1480 sales), Angus & Julia Stone's 'And The Boys' moves up from No.79 to No.64 (1414 sales) and k-os's 'I Wish I Knew Natalie Portman' debuts at No.71 (1178 copies).
A top 100 debut too for Natalie Bassingthwaighte's new single 'Love Like This'. It's in at No.88 (1014 sales).
ALBUMS : It's SuBo again! Susan Boyle clocks up her eleventh consecutive week on top of the ARIA albums chart this week, though she's only had to sell 7984 copies of 'I Dreamed A Dream' this week to do so. The last album to spend eleven consecutive weeks atop the ARIA album chart was back in 2001 with the Moulin Rouge Soundtrack.
In at No.2 was Mumford & Sons' album 'Sigh No More' (7251 sales), No.3 was Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' (4649 sales), Michael Buble has No.4 wrapped up with 'Crazy Love' (4442 sales) and Ke$ha's 'Animal' was at No.5 (3289 copies).
Taylor Swift is back into the top ten - at No.7 with 'Fearless' (2996 sales), Florence & The Machine's 'Lungs' moves up to No.12 (2386 copies) and Groove Armada's 'Black Light' debuts in the No.17 spot with 1671 sales.
Rob Zombie's new album 'Hellbilly Deluxe 2' debuts at No.23 (1492 sales), Hot Chip's 'One Life Stand' is in at No.27 (1212 sales) and the Beach Boys best-of rockets into the top 100 at No.38 (968 sales).
There's a top 50 debut - at No.40 - for The XX (923 sales) and the Lostprophets also debut - No.49 with 'The Betrayed' (765 sales).
Outside the top 50, there's a debut for Midlake at No.61 - their album 'The Courage Of Others' sells 640 copies and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros' follow up some singles chart love with album chart love for their album 'Up From Below'. It's in at No.86 (440 sales).
