MAJOR LABEL IS PANTS

From the title of the article, you could be forgiven for thinking that we were about to rubbish one of the four major record labels in Australia. But no, this one's all about 'Major Label', a brand new initiative from high street retailer General Pants Co.
The new label, owned by General Pants Co, has been set up to discover unearthed Australian talent and take it to the masses via the General Pants website, concentrating solely on the sale of the artists' singles.
Major Label has also just unveiled the trio of Aussie acts who've been chosen as the first to have their songs featured on the site.
And they are;

22 year old Sydney musician Guinea Fowl (left, with the contents of a Crayola packed adorning his face), described as having an "indietronic" sound, with his single 'In Our Circles'.

Two year old Sydney based indie/rock outfit Circle Pit (Angela Bermuda and Jack Mannix, below left) with their single 'Another Trick'.

And Sydney folk-pop outfit The High Highs (pictured bottom left on a rocky outcrop), featuring pals Jack Milas and Oli Chang.

All three tracks are already available for download from the GENERAL PANTS CO WEBSITE.
