We made mention earlier this morning about Sydney singer-songwriter Vera Fernandes and her top five placing in next week's Musicoz Awards in Sydney. Another auspOp favourite who's also made the cut is Kate Vigo. Kate's also made it into the top five - but in the 'video' category for her 'The Way You Are' clip, which we featured HERE on the site last year.
Kate was also a finalist in the 'pop' category with the same song.
To co-incide with her nomination, Kate has released a brand new seven track digital EP. The 'Someone Better' EP (pictured), is now available on iTunes, and features Kate's new single (the EP's title track) along with previous single 'The Way You Are', live tracks and a bonus track. 'Someone Better' is great - a driving piano-driven track with some electro buzzing effects and a sweet as candy chorus from an artist who we reckon is destined for big things.
