No change this week at the top of the ARIA albums and singles charts, with Lady Gaga and Brian McFadden respectively still holding firm, but quite a number of debuts and big moves, so let's check them out in our (belated) chart watch.SINGLES : Brian McFadden has done it again - holding off all comers to stay steady on top of the ARIA singles chart for the second successive week - and with another 20,550 sales in the bag, his new single 'Just Say So' is now a gold certified single after just two weeks on sale.
Even Lady Gaga with her catchy new single 'Alejandro' has to settle for second place with 16,002 sales, displacing Train's former No.1 single 'Hey, Soul Sister' to No.3 (15,329 sales).
Adam Lambert moves silently up one place to No.4 with 'Whataya Want From Me' (12,422) and Richard Vission drops two places to No.5 with 'I Like That' (12,042 sales).

Taio Cruz is knocking on the door of the top 20 with his single 'Break Your Heart - up to No.29, while Yolanda Be Cool debuts at No.25 with 'We No Speak No Americano' (3272 copies).

T-Pain also debuts with 'Take Your Shirt Off' at No.42 (2284 sales), while Powderfinger and Kisschasy pop back in at Nos.45 and 47 respectively.
Outside the 50, Ludacris makes a move - up to No.54 with his single 'How Low', Powderfinger's classic 'My Happiness' is back in at No.63 on the back of their final tour announcement and Jack Johnson's 'You And Your Heart' is up from No.94 to No.66.
A No.70 debut for Tinie Tempah with 'Pass Out' (1057 sales), a No.71 debut for Lisa Mitchell with 'Oh! Hark!' (1022 sales) and Lil Wayne pops in at No.80 with 'Drop The World' (933 sales).
LMFO is in at No.91 with 'Shots' (824 copies) and Counting Crows rocket into the 100 at No.96 with 'Colourblind' (790 sales).
ALBUMS : On the albums side of the draw, it's Lady Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' that holds steady this week - selling a further 6641 copies for a No.1 place. But look out Gaga, Subo's on the prowl, moving up two spots with her re-packaged 'I Dreamed A Dream' to No.2 (5648 sales).
JBT is down to No.3 (4347 sales) and Mumford & Sons is up to No.4 (3987 sales).
Last year's 'Australia's Got Talent' winner Mark Vincent debuts at No.5 with his new album 'Compass'. It sold 3915 copies for the place.

With Regina Spektor in the country touring, her album 'Far' re-emerges in the top 100 - at No.52 (653 sales). The same deal with Jamie Cullum's album 'The Pursuit' - back into the top 100 at No.60.
Doris Day's 'Hits, Hollywood & Broadway' is in the top 100 at No.68 (566 sales), Eric Hutchinson moves back in to No.78 and Bieber fever sees 'My Worlds' back into the top 100 at No.82 (461 sales).

Hi auspOp team x
You guys are awesome - thanks for the Guy Sebastian sales - good to see him still simmering along with his awesome music! Great Aussie talent.
Dee
Hey auspOp,
Can you please give me grand toals to date for:
Lady Gaga:
The Fame Monster
Paparazzi
Bad Romance
Telephone
Alejandro.
Thanks in afvamce.
Hey Mr.Paj,
Unfortunately, we can't give full figures of all of those except for 'Alejandro' due to the month-long gap in our Chart Watch segment over the Christmas/New Year period.
But for Alejandro, since it's debut on April 06, has sold 32,157 copies.
The auspOp team
Cheers auspOp.
Is it possible to get the totals without that month please?
If it's to much trouble don't worry.
thanx.
Sure thing;
From release to this week with time spent in the top 100 (excluding the month over Christmas/New Year
Paparazzi : 140,956 (double platinum)
Bad Romance : 175,071 (double platinum)
(Bad Romance was at the height of it's popularity over Christmas/New Year, so selling more than 10,000 copies per week, it'll easily be three times platinum by now)
Telephone : 126,272
The Fame Monster : 107,499
(This excludes some of the biggest sales weeks of the year).
Just a heads-up too - you can find all the Lady Gaga sales info each week in the comments section of the Chart Watch.
The auspOp team
Awsome, thanx
Did I ever tell you that you guys rock?
Thanks again.
Hi AuspOp!
Albums sales figures are depressing.
I was interested in getting this week's sales figures for these items:
+ Usher - OMG
+ Timbaland - If We Ever Meet Again
+ Jason DeRülo - Jason DeRülo
+ Gyroscope - Cohesion
And I also would've been curious to know how many units the #100 album sold this week.
Thanks in advance.
Hey Innocent Eyes,
Usher : OMG @ No.08 - 9924 copies
Timbaland : If We Ever Meet Again @ No.11 - 7947 copies
Jason DeRülo : Jason DeRülo @ No.08 - 3337 copies
Gyroscope : Cohesion @ No.10 - 2408 copies
The sales on No.100 singles and albums are;
No.100 single : 769 copies
No.100 album : 407 copies

hi there,
is christina aguilera , operator please and sia in the top 100 this week?
thanks :)
Hey Anonymous,
Christina's single 'Not Myself Tonight' is on the digital charts at No.20, selling 4372 copies, but is nowhere to be seen on the ARIA singles chart.
Operator Please's 'Logic' drops from No.47 to No.97 on the singles chart (787 sales), but no sign of 'Back And Forth'.
No Sia. But given 'Clap Your Hands' is moving up the iTunes chart as we speak, possibly next week.
The auspOp team
Considering most sales are digital, how can Christina chart at #20 on the Digital Track chart, yet not even reach the top 100 on the singles chart? I don't understand. ARIA have done this before when "Ridin' Solo" by Jason Derulo debuted on the digital tracks and "Your Love Is My Drug" by Ke$ha.
Hey Brad,
From what we understand, Sony has to give ARIA the go-ahead to have Christina registered on the official singles chart. Apparently.
