COUNTDOWN TO EUROVISION : Azerbaijan

Can you believe it? The excitement is building, we can feel it in our waters... Yesterday marked just one month before the first semi final in Eurovision 2010. Just one month before some of the kitschest, the campest and the most colourful music in the world takes to the stage in Oslo for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Once again, the competition is broken down into the two semi finals (on May 25 and 27) and the grand final on May 29. And we continue our look at some of the entries that will compete for European music's ultimate prize.

AZERBAIJAN : Safura - Drip Drop

She may be just 17 years of age, but that hasn't stopped Safura Alizadeh from fulfilling a dream to represent her country at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. Safura was chosen as this year's Azerbaijani entry by public vote at the beginning of last month, with the song 'Drop Drop' - a track that's apparently already garnered the No.1 airplay spot in nearby Bulgaria. It's all about the cheating boyfriend who's causing these tears (drip drop, drip drop). It's okay, but we doubt very highly that it'll walk away victorious on May 29.
