APRA AWARDS WINNERS

Melbourne outfit The Temper Trap has taken out the coveted gong for 'Song Of The Year' at this year's APRA Awards, held in Sydney last night. They beat off stiff competition from Sarah Blasko, Troy Cassar-Daley, Empire Of The Sun and Kate Miller-Heidke to take out the prestigious award for their single 'Sweet Disposition'.
Empire Of The Sun picked up the 'Breakthrough Songwriter Of The Year' award, along with the 'Dance Work Of The Year' gong.
Eskimo Joe did well on the night, also picking up two awards - one for 'Most Played Australian Work' and one for 'Rock Work Of The Year'.
