
TINA COUSINS : Pray
We're celebrating the second anniversary of our 'Lookback' video segments today with a great classic from 1998. Though Tina Cousins achieved top 20 success with this Topham/Twigg/Waterman track over in her homeland, it was here in Australia that it really found its feet. With plenty of persistence from her local label Zomba at the time, 'Pray' scored Tina a top 10 placing and was reportedly among the most played songs at local radio that year. Further chart success was to follow.
As for the clip, well we don't know what in the world's going on in the first part, but towards the end, we get the feeling the lighthouse is broken and the local kids have come up with some great ideas as to how to warn oncoming ships about the dangers that lie ahead. Let's just hope it doesn't drop dark...
