• So many new tracks at local radio this week, including the brand new single for Washington called 'Sunday Best' (pictured). It's the latest single to be listed from the band's forthcoming album 'I Believe You, Liar', due for release at the end of the month.
• With the single already hitting the No.2 spot in the US, Universal Music has also officially sent out the brand new Eminem/Rihanna duet 'Love The Way You Lie'. It's already inhabiting the Aussie top ten, but expect its success to continue with more radio additions in the weeks to come.
• Universal also took out the Scissor Sister's new single 'Any Which Way', Example's 'Kickstarts', Klaxons' 'Echoes' and Bluejuice's 'Head Of The Hawk'.
• EMI this week serviced The Cat Empire's 'Falling' along with remixes of the Professor Green/Lily Allen track 'Just Be Good To Green'.
• Warner Music, meanwhile, serviced Jason Derulo's new track 'What If', along with 'Want Everything' - the brand new single for former Killing Heidi siblings the Hoopers' new project The Verses (pictured).
• Sony Music has announced the local release of the brand new collaborative album by soul singer John Legend and The Roots. 'Wake Up!' is set to feature a selection of tracks from the '60s and '70s with a theme of awareness, engagement and consciousness. It's due to drop locally on September 24.
• Molly Meldrum will chat with Kate Miller-Heidke this morning on Channel 7's Sunrise. The man in the hat caught up with the Aussie songstress in London recently and the interview will be split into two parts, played at 6:15am and 8:25am.
• Lady Gaga has become the first living person to surpass the 10 million friend mark on Facebook. As mentioned last week, she was in a race against US President Barack Obama to reach the milestone, but she's pipped him at the post.
• There have been a couple of readers keen to find out when a new Sara Bareilles track would be hitting local retail. Well the good news is that it's not too far away, with Sony revealing the single 'King Of Anything' will hit digital retail in Australia on Friday July 23.
• Around the world on the chart front and in the UK, Katy Perry maintains her stranglehold on the No.1 single position this week, with Kylie's 'All The Lovers' moving up to No.3, Enrique Iglesias debuting at No.4 with 'I Like It' and Kelly Rowland rocketing into the top ten with 'Commander'.
• On the UK albums chart this week, Eminem maintains the advantage over the Scissor Sisters, who debut in the No.2 spot with 'Night Work'. David Guetta is back inside the top ten with 'One Love'.
• In the US, Katy Perry has the No.1 single spot all wrapped up with 'California Gurls', with the aforementioned Eminem and Rihanna debuting at No.2.
• And there ain't no stopping Eminem on the albums chart either, with a No.1 album debut to mirror 'Recovery's success in the UK and here in Australia. Miley's 'Can't Be Tamed' debuts at No.3, Ozzy Osbourne's 'Scream' debuts at No.4 and The Roots' new album 'How I Got Over' is in at No.6.

Yay! Sara Bareilles' 'King Of Anything' is extraordinary. I hope it goes well here. Also Auspop, her video for the song is online...it's interesting to say the least.

WHY?. I love "The Verses", but their new single is insulting "Forever More" by taking it's verses. The only difference between "Forever More" and "Want Everything" is that the chorus is different and music is slightly different.
