JBT SAYS 'THANKS'

The John Butler Trio has released a small statement thanking their fans for the most incredible year of their careers so far. Not only did their latest album 'April Uprising' become their third album to debut in the No.1 position on the ARIA albums chart earlier this year, but it was also the band's first album to debut in the top 50 in the United States and also spent time in the French top 30.
In Australia meanwhile, the album has just been classified platinum, for sales of more than 70,000 copies.
And in the midst of their national tour (the next show's tomorrow night at Wollongong's WIN Entertainment Centre), Mister Butler has issued the following statement;
“What can I say to the best music fans in the world? Your support, love and absolute enthusiasm for our music is, to say the very least, humbling and an incredible honour to have. You all make dreams come true and I love the relationship we’ve built over time. April Uprising going platinum in this day and age of downloading is testimony to a very special friendship and the amazing journey that we’re all on together. To all of you AND the amazing teams we work with to bring this music to the masses thank you, thank you, thank you all so very much !! You f***king ROCK!!!!!!!”
