RÖYKSOPP : Eple
We've loved Norwegian duo Röyksopp since this fabulous piece of instrumental electronic magic became their first top 20 hit back in 2001. Plonked in remix form on many chill out albums around the time, for many 'Eple' introduced Torbjørn and Svein's delights to the world. It was the second official single to be lifted from their debut 'Melody A.M.' and though they've had some truly brilliant moments since ('What Else Is There', 'Only This Moment', 'Girl & The Robot', 'Happy Up Here' to name but four), there's something about 'Eple' that's stood the test of time. The clip follows a series of camera movement, push throughs, pull outs from a series of slides and photographs. Classic Röyksopp. Often imitated, not yet bettered.
