Organisers of Canberra's Stonefest late next month have announced this afternoon that two of the acts due to take to the stage at this year's event have unfortunately had to cancel their appearance. The Panics are the first to withdraw from the line-up, citing scheduling conflicts with their recording process. They're now due to be back in the United States at the end of October to head straight into the recording studio.
Meanwhile Cloud Control has also pulled out. Following the band's recent signing to Infectious Records in the UK, they're off to perform on a tour of Europe throughout October and November, meaning they too will have to miss Stonefest '10.
But not wishing to leave punters without two big names in the line-up, organisers have today announced the replacement acts - Xavier Rudd and Deep Sea Arcade.
Stonefest is on Saturday October 30 at the University Of Canberra.
More details are available as always over at www.stonefest.com.au.
