By now you're probably acutely aware that Hairspray The Musical is due to open in Australia later this month, bursting onto the stage in Melbourne in an explosion of colour, movement and plenty of fantastic songs. But an old familiar face from the pop world has just been announced as an addition to the cast.
Tevin Campbell, who experienced huge chart success in Australia in the early '90s with No.1 hits 'Tell Me What You Want Me to Do' and 'Always In My Heart', as well as our favourite 'Can We Talk', will hit the stage to reprise his roll of Seaweed, a role he enjoyed on Broadway until last year.
