Oh for those heady summer days of the late '70s and early '80s. When families were divided into three types - those who drove Holdens, those who drove Fords and those who drove Valiants, when people bounced in the surf inside oversized Coke beach balls, when real men wore moustaches and flares, when pampas grass grew freely in everyone's front yard, brown and fawn were the colours du jour and when home computers and mobile phone technology were pretty much only a thing of the future.
