Some artists have been lucky enough to be able to shake off the dreaded reality show contestant tag and move into a credible career in the music business - Lisa Mitchell is proof that it can happen. Matt Corby is another. Emerging from the TV cocoon, he's since released two independent EPs and will release his third - the 'Transitions To Colour' EP - this Friday.
Recorded in London, the EP is reported to be a "haunting and ethereal collection of songs" which will showcase the singer's songwriting maturity, despite his tender years.
And after a couple of showcase gigs last week, Matt will hit the road again in November playing dates in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. His planned shows in Queensland have been postponed 'til next year due to "scheduling conflicts".

The 'Transition To Colour' EP hits stores on Friday.
