Hey may be a fair way into his 70s, but it seems that Indian born crooner Engelbert Humperdinck has lost none of his spark and enthusiasm, announcing a brand new album set for release later this month. 'Released' will see the singer teaming up with Australian producer Paul Wiltshire and promises something for everyone, with 11 tracks including 'Take Me Back Again', 'No One Ever Told Me', 'Everything & More' and 'Tell Me Where It Hurts'. There's also the hint of "a new song that will surprise everyone", though we suspect that may have something to do with the track he recorded with Australia's own girl group Trinity.
He'll also be touring the country from early next month - taking in stops in Perth, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Adelaide (in that order) from Wednesday November 03, and performing some of his biggest hits including the iconic 'Quando Quando Quando', 'A Man Without Love', 'The Last Waltz' and 'Release Me'.
The album 'Released' is out on Friday October 29, with the tour dates below to follow shortly thereafter;
November 03 : Perth (Burswood Theatre)
November 05 : Melbourne (State Theatre)
November 06 : Melbourne (State Theatre)
November 09 : Brisbane (QPAC)
