WARNER'S OFFICIAL KYLIE ANNOUNCEMENT

Warner Music Australia has today officially confirmed the forthcoming release of not one but TWO deluxe tour editions of Kylie Minogue's latest album 'Aphrodite'.
Both will be released to co-incide with the singer's 'Aprodite - Les Folies' tour of Australia, kicking off in Brisbane on Friday June 03.

Version one is the 'Les Folies' tour edition - it's a fabulous three disc Australian-only package that comes complete with the original 'Aphrodite' album, a second disc containing the Pete Hammond remix of 'Put Your Hands Up', local team Denzal Park's remix of 'Aphrodite' and other previously unreleased mixes and a third CD featuring a 20 minute megamix ('All The Lovers', 'Put Your Hands Up', 'Get Outta My Way', 'Better Than Today', 'Aphrodite' and 'Higher'), also by Denzal Park. The 'Les Folies Tour Edition' will be released into stores on Friday June 03.

But it's version No.2 - the 'Goddess Edition' - that has everyone talking. Since word leaked via CD Wow late last week that this was on the way, Kylie-philes the world over have been going into meltdown, coveting what's set to be an extremely limited physical release that will become an instant collector's item.
This beautiful deluxe edition will house the original 'Aphrodite' album amongst a sublime pop-out housing inspired by and celebrating Kylie's 'Aphrodite - Les Folies' tour. We've brought you some of the images of the new edition over the past few days, including sewn components, pop-up imagery and much more. It's incredibly detailed, incredibly limited.
Though no firm date has been offered up for its release, it's expected to drop mid-way through next month. Punters can pre-order HERE, with a slice of the proceeds going to New Mardi Gras!



The team at Warner Music Australia really needs to take a bow over this project - as the Kylie 'Les Folies' Tour and Goddess Editions are some of the biggest local production projects they've ever undertaken.
We know there have been many sleepless nights among staff members, we're aware that Warner went into bat to give local fans something they've been deserving of for a long time. We know that it's a massive project with so many elements having to come together at exactly the right time. And we know that the turnaround time has been incredibly small.
But we're sure you'll agree, the effort has been entirely worth it. Exclusive Australian remixes, exclusive Australian editions just for us - the Goddess version of which is sure to go down in history as one of the best Kylie collectors items ever made.
