ADELECTABLE NEW SINGLE

British singer Adele has managed to achieve something that not many Brits can claim to have done - achieve phenomenal success on the other side of the Atlantic.
Her latest album '21' has now sold in excess of 1.8 million copies in the United States, adding to her already impressive tally of 2.4 million copies back home in England.
Here in Australia, it's a similar tale of success, with the LP now certified double platinum and the first single from it ('Rolling In The Deep') in excess of platinum status.
Its successor 'Someone Like You' has already been gracing our top 50 for nine weeks, but now Adele's local record company Remote Control has officially serviced the new tune to Australian radio.
And it's safe to say that with her albums '21' and '19' both in the Aussie top ten albums chart this week and 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Someone Like You' both top 20, the local story from the gal from Tottenham is (finally and belatedly) only just getting started.

Finally Adele is getting the recognition she deserves!! Such a phenomenal talent, 19 & 21 are pure works of art. She can only get bigger and better!

Are you refering to Someone Like You as the new single? Or a 3rd single?
I really hope Set Fire To The Rain gets released here. It's my favourite from her to date.

Hey Mykl,

No, it's 'Someone Like You' that's been officially serviced to radio today.

Will we get an iTunes release?

I'm waiting for a local release of her BRITS performance. Also it's great to see her get noticed over here now. I remember buying 19 the day it came out over 3 years ago.

Hey Mr Paj,

There's no word on the presser about a specific iTunes release date, but given the track's already top five on iTunes, we don't see much need at the moment to give it one!
