What started off three years ago in the UK as a bit of fun to remember the late great Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and at the same time raise much needed funds for AIDS research has reached Australia.
Freddie For A Day will allow local Queen fans to indulge and get their Freddie on, by paying tribute to the singer and some of his most outrageous costumes.
Fans are encouraged to trawl the net for iconic Queen images and recreate the look and get friends, loved ones and work colleagues to sponsor them.
All money raised locally will go to the AIDS Trust Of Australia.
