Olivia Newton-John's updated version of her 'Xanadu' hit 'Magic' hit the top 100 on its release back in late May. Olivia teamed up with Aussie DJ Dan Murphy and producer Steve Peach for the project, which was created to raise funds for Olivia's Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne. But after only being available in Australia, now the superstar is taking it to the rest of the world, dedicating it to the gay community after New York became the sixth US state to legalise gay marriage.
"I have many gay friends that I love and care about, and I am so happy that they can now share their lives with their chosen loved ones and be afforded the same rights as other married couples," she said in a statement.
"I am so delighted that the new remix of Magic is doing so well, and raising magic-money for my Cancer & Wellness centre!"
She performed the track in New York on Saturday night as part of the city's Pride celebrations.
