ZOË BADWI : Carry Me Home

Some people on our site have been complaining that Zoë's new single is a cover version of a track from German pop singer Sarah Connor's latest album.
To be fair, we're sure that it's only real pop aficionados (or fans of Sarah's) who'd be aware of the fact.
Moving swiftly along, saucy lil' Ms Badwi is dropping hints (in the form of little white envelopes) right left and centre in the hope of luring a handsome young man to her pop lair. Masquerading party guests invade his room, snogging all over the place. He leaves, finds her, she disappears again, he discovers a party in full swing, looks impressed to discover that Grant Smillie was on the guest list (must be an A list shindig) and finally finds Ms Zoe hiding behind the throng of impossibly attractive people.
It's rather slick.

Great song much stronger than Accidents Happen I think. This has a killer chorus, hope it charts.

Sorry, but she peaked with Freefalling. Doubt she will ever have another top 10 hit, even if she covers songs that are already hits!

Too short, too repetitive. Definitely not on par with Freefallin' or Accidents Happen, or even Release Me.
