BJORK RELEASE CONFIRMED

Universal Music will release the new Bjork album in Australia in September.
'Biophilia' is the Icelandic songstress' first LP since 2007's 'Volta' and sees the singer venturing into a range of multimedia platforms to launch it.
The official 'Biophilia' app is now available locally for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. It will give punters the chance to enjoy each of the album's ten songs as they become available in the lead-up to the album's release. While initially free, the app will allow fans to purchase options and audiovisual features along the way.
Meanwhile, the digital singles of 'Cosmogony' and 'Crystalline' are now both on our local iTunes store and a video for 'Crystalline' (below) premiered yesterday.
A documentary and tour are forthcoming and the OFFICIAL WEBSITE has been relaunched, while the 'Biophilia' album will be given an Aussie release on Friday September 23.

Ooh, I see there's a 'Collector's Edition' on the release schedule... do we know if that's anything like the 'Manual' or the 'Ultimate' Editions available on her website, or is it just the digipak version - or maybe something different again?

I beg of the auspOp oracle, please divine an answer from your great wisdom and many sources of knowledge.

Hey JestaCat,

Bit too early at this stage - the only information available at the moment from Universal locally is that there's a standard and "collectors" edition.
There's nothing on their extranet either, sadly.
