LEAKS ALOUD!

We could call it one of the most anticipated pop reunions of recent years. They left the business on a high after their 2008 album 'Out Of Control' (though that didn't even see the light of day here in Australia), but Girls Aloud will most definitely return in 2012.
Sadly, however, someone just couldn't keep it a secret and a leak of their new track 'Something New' found its way onto YouTube. Brilliantly, the girls and their label responded quickly, uploading the proper high quality version for all to hear.
While there's no word yet on Universal releasing the track locally (are you listening, Millers Point HQ??), the countdown is on to the UK action... three days and counting.

It's a bit ironic that they're singing about wanting something new and then having the song sound really dated, lol

This *HAS* to be released in Aus :(

They should at least release the single digitally and they should bother to release the upcoming greatest hits physically. But I don't know, I can't see it happening.

Meh. These girls really need to release something that doesn't sound dated, maybe then they'll get some real success beyond the gloomy shores of the UK

Its most certainly Oz radio friendly..... but then maybe if they had guest spots from Flo-rida or Pitbull - then radio would pay attention to it.

I think it is a killer tune. I don't think it sounds dated. It's very Girls Aloud.

It's fucking ace. Very happy there is no horrid rapper on it trying to give it "street creed". It doesn't sound dated to me at all, it is big, ballsy, classic British pop. People dream of coming up with tunes like this but not many do!
