LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE '80S

We really have to hand it to a gentleman named Liam. He's the genius behind the truly extraordinary 'Future Pop' compilations over recent years - compiles we've described as the best ever released in Australia. He's also been part of a number of EMI's successful '101 Hits' compilations over the years, including the recent (and altogether excellent) '101 Pop Hits'.
Now he's stepping back in time to deliver a swag of good time party anthems from the 1980s - and it seems he's certainly not lost that midas touch.
The compile, due next month, features a host of fab and familiar tunes from the decade of hypercolour t-shirts, PacMan, Tropicana and Ghostbusters.
So who's featured? Well let's just gander at disc one and you'll get an idea as to what to expect... It's got John Farnham, The Eurythmics, Kenny Loggins, Starship, Duran Duran, Roxette, Survivor, Bonnie Tyler, Falco, Nena, Adam And The Ants, Kim Wilde, The Jacksons, Aretha Franklin, Simple Minds, Cyndi Lauper, Ray Parker Jr, Hall & Oates, Pat Benatar and Europe. So many classic hits, so many memories - but there's another 81 tracks to come thereafter.
